
Eremita degli Arnolfi is place of ancient spiritual tradition and research, since pre-christian era, kept alive over time, and it has been the refugee for many Franciscan Spirituals over the centuries.
It is in the middle of a wide holy, natural and historical area, that maintained alive over the centuries the message of the spirituality that is common to all religions and cults, and where it is possible to experience the elements that are commons to any life cycle.
It has been made famous by Francis of Assisi, who rebuilt the chapel and writed there the first version of the Canticle of Creatures, his famous ode to God and the elements of creation, also known as the first written document in Italian language.
